Welcome to our daily blog! We use it to share daily updates on our classroom, reflections on our learning with children, and photographs.We are so excited that so many people are sharing in the Turtle Day! Extended family, friends, neighbors, educators, etc, are also encouraged to follow the blog!
One of the wonderful aspects of blogging is that it allows real-time interaction between home and school. Is your child talking about what we are doing in school? Leave us a comment and let us know! Are you interested (or even an expert!) in something we are studying? Leave us a comment and let us know! Are you planning an outing with your child to extend the classroom learning? The Turtles At Home and Abroad


The day started with an airplane ride! The children went to Disney! Apparently they were going to see all their favorite characters. They also built a giant castle using almost all the magnatiles!

At Morning Meeting, the puppets Princess Julia and Princess Maliya (as named by the Turtles) continued working on friendship. The Turtles have lots of suggestions for how to help them, and they worked out how to play together!




At Choice Time, we did some more work on the collage sculptures.











And then we went for a big walk to the Lower School Playground! The Turtles love the extra physical challenge of the big equipment!
