Welcome to our daily blog! We use it to share daily updates on our classroom, reflections on our learning with children, and photographs.We are so excited that so many people are sharing in the Turtle Day! Extended family, friends, neighbors, educators, etc, are also encouraged to follow the blog!
One of the wonderful aspects of blogging is that it allows real-time interaction between home and school. Is your child talking about what we are doing in school? Leave us a comment and let us know! A Good Day for Warm Apple Sauce!

Walking into school today, it felt like a good day for apple sauce! The children thought so too, and when we checked inthe fridge, sure enough, we had plenty of apples!
We gathered apple peelers and slicers and set to work. It was very tricky to use the peelers, but several kids gave it a try.
They also loved sampling the apple skins, especially when Tamara could make a long long spiral!
 Using the slicer was easier, and soon the apples were prepped!
A little cinnamon, a little ginger, and a little sugar (hardly any, really) and the apples were set to simmer on the stove.
We checked it several times, and finally it was ready. It was so delicious to eat warm apple sauce outside on this blustery day!
