Today was a beautiful day to go exploring at the logs! We found that some of the logs had been moved! We could walk across the flat logs much more easily! We also found the some of the bark was coming off in large chunks. When Tamara read the book, "The Dead Tree," we learned that there is a fungus that grows under the bark of fallen trees that helps break the tree down into decaying wood, then soil.
We also worked with mixing colored water, today with bubble!
Adding magic colored stones to the light area led to counting and patterning,
finger painting while looking at gourds,
making new playdough,
beading our helper necklace,
playing outside,
and dancing the limbo in Movement with Missy!
